Len Arran

Early career as a guitarist in London with Siren, Big Blue Sea, Mama Wild. Writing with Skin from Skunk Anansie produced 8 top 40 Singles and 3 Gold /Platinum Albums; Paranoid and Sunburnt (1995), Stoosh (1997) and Post Orgasmic Chill (1999)

The huge European-wide hit Hedonism was used In the film Cruel Intentions (1999), along with tracks for Strangedays (1995), Mission Impossible (1998) and The Avengers (1998), and other television credits within Europe and America

Other successes include tracks with Addict and The Prodigy, and a variety of covers of his songs from Rod Stewart to Pavarotti!

Writing of many short stories and developing of screenplays

Len’s first short script, Film was short-listed into the final 20 selections for the Orange FilmFour Prize out of over 1700 entries

Composed music for computer games including the Sony Entertainment PC game, Tellurian Defence - high praise in reviews of the game – in addition to music for the highly commended Simon Community TV Spots

2004 saw the release of songs for Skin’s first Solo Album, Fleshwounds on EMI Records

Scored music and sound designed for three Irish Short Films, the award winningA Dublin Story (2003), directed by Graham Cantwell, Push Hands(2004), directed by Stephanie Green and Past Pupil (2005), directed by Graham Cantwell
